Croton River Artisans Gallery was conceived in the tradition of earlier Croton Arts venues like Gallimaufry and Wondrous Things, which tapped into the historical zeitgeist of the village as an arts incubator.

From sculptor Alexander Calder to textile artists Ethel Stein and Vera, Croton has played host to a bevy of wonderful artists and artisans. See some of these people on our Legacy page. We see ourselves as a space designed to showcase the very best that the village has to offer.
