This is the second beautiful piece that glass artist Phil Taylor generously donated to help support the Croton River Artisans Gallery. We had a raffle for this stunning red bowl, and the lucky winner was Bridget Adams. Thank you to all who bought raffle tickets. We have one more piece from Phil which will be auctioned off next!

AnnMarie Sasso: Woodworker, Homesteader

What we do

AnnMarie  combines her creative artisan vision with her love for nature, She repurposes unwanted lumber into beautiful furnishings.  AnnMarie sits on various boards and is a 4H Leader volunteering much of her time working with youth and agricultural outreach.

Tables are made with a "live edge," in which AnnMarie leaves the facing side with the organic contour of the tree as opposed to cutting it square. Beautiful woodgrain is highlighted in these pieces as you can see. Some of her tables highlight a "waterfall effect," where the grain continues on one end of the piece.

Also in the gallery are smaller items of AnnMarie's. She makes Cutting Boards, larger Charcuterie Boards, and in collaboration with ceramicist Tracy Platero, Sushi Boards. These have AnnMarie's signature beautiful woodgrain, along with paired stoneware bowls made by Tracy.
